Meet Otoko – Our Guide in Bhutan 🇧🇹
Otoko, whose full name is Prabit Sharma, is a passionate and experienced guide from Bhutan with a deep love for culture, nature, and meaningful travel. With a background in business studies, he began his journey in tourism as a driver, but quickly advanced after completing formal guide training in 2014.
Since then, he has guided travelers from all over the world through Bhutan’s majestic landscapes – from high Himalayan treks to immersive cultural experiences. A few years working in Vietnam also gave him valuable international insight and broadened his perspective.
Now back in Bhutan, Otoko brings warmth, knowledge, and a genuine sense of connection to every tour – helping our guests create unforgettable memories in one of the world’s most unique destinations.

Our passion for Nepal, Africa, the Nordic mountains, canoeing and ski touring and off-piste skiing regularly takes us back to the Kebnekaise massif, hiking trails in Nepal, Ben Nevis in Scotland or up the beautiful slopes of Kilimanjaro. We also love visiting the Dzongs of Bhutan, the Batwa pygmies or the mist-shrouded and legendary mountain gorillas in the jungles of Rwanda and Uganda.
In winter and spring we ski and do fantastic ski-touring excursions and summit tours with hiking boots.
The customers who let us guide them are adventurers who over the years often return to us for more experiences and more adventure. That is the best rating we think.

Climbing Sweden’s highest mountain, Kebnekaise, is a dream for many.
200 km north of the polar circle - Into the wild…
Since the eastern route is closed we will follow the western route – but we can promise you a real adventure that takes us across rushing streams, onto the permafrost and all the way to the snow-covered south summit, around 2,100 meters above sea level.
